Overview

This policy explains how Briven AI Studio ("Briven," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information, both when you visit brivenstudio.com and when we deliver services to you as a client. Briven AI Studio is based in Romania, in the European Union, and we built this site and our services to collect as little information as we reasonably can, and to be straightforward with you about the rest.

Information we collect

Through this website

When you use the contact form on our About & Contact page, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, business name (if provided), and your message. We don't collect anything else through this site. We don't currently use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts of any kind.

Through the services we deliver

If you become a client, we collect additional information directly related to the service you've hired us for. This typically includes:

• Business details you give us to set up a service: hours, services offered, pricing, FAQs, tone/voice preferences, and similar operational information.
• For the AI chatbot widget: conversations between the chatbot and your website's visitors, and any lead information a visitor chooses to share (name, phone number, or email) through the chat.
• For review response management: the content of reviews left on your business profiles, so we can draft responses.
• For automation and spreadsheet work: whatever data or file samples you share with us so we can build and test the workflow or dashboard.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form.
• Build, configure, and deliver the service you've engaged us for.
• Improve how a chatbot, automation, or dashboard performs for your specific business.
• Communicate with you about your account, project, or service.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use client or visitor data to train any general-purpose AI model beyond what's needed to operate the specific service you've hired us for.

How information is shared

We don't share information with third parties except:

• Service providers that help us operate: for example, the form-processing provider that delivers contact form submissions to us, spreadsheet/document tools used to store leads or transcripts, or the underlying AI provider used to power a chatbot we build for you.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Briven AI Studio, our clients, or others.

If we build a chatbot or tool for your business

When we build and operate an AI chatbot (or similar tool) for a client's website, that client's website visitors are interacting with a tool we operate on the client's behalf. In that relationship:

• The client business is responsible for having its own privacy policy that discloses the chatbot to its own website visitors.
• We act as a service provider processing that conversation and lead data on the client's behalf, to deliver the service. We don't use it for any other business's benefit.
• Clients can ask us to delete stored conversation transcripts or lead data collected through their chatbot at any time.

Data retention

We keep contact form submissions and client project information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your inquiry, deliver the service, and maintain basic business records afterward. You can ask us to delete information we hold about you at any time. See "Your rights" below.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you're located, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain uses of it. To make a request, email us at hello@brivenstudio.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

GDPR (European Union)

Because Briven AI Studio is established in Romania, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) governs how we handle personal data as a matter of course, for everyone who contacts us or uses our services, not only visitors located in the EU. We process your personal data on the following legal bases: your consent (for example, submitting the contact form), our legitimate interests (running and improving this site and our services), and performance of a contract (delivering a service you've engaged us for). You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to certain exceptions.
• Restrict or object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests.
• Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Since Briven AI Studio is based in Romania, that's Romania's National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), though you can also contact the supervisory authority in your own country.

We don't currently transfer personal data outside the country where it's collected as a routine part of running this site; where a service provider we use does involve an international transfer, we rely on that provider's own appropriate safeguards (such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

If you're a California resident (CCPA/CPRA)

If you're a California resident, California's privacy law gives you the right to:

• Know what personal information we've collected about you, and why.
• Delete personal information we've collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
• Correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
• Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

We don't sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and we don't use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes beyond what's needed to run this site and deliver our services. The categories of personal information described in "Information we collect" above are the same categories we've collected in the preceding 12 months. Children's privacy

Our site and services are intended for business owners and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including limiting who has access to it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
